    Merry Christmas from Korea!

This year, I spend all Christmas day on the flight going home. This is how my 29-hour-trip looks like:
Richmond VA USA to Atlanta GA USA (2 hrs + transit time 3 hrs)
Atlanta GA USA to Souel Korea (15 hrs + transit time 3 hrs)
Souel Korea to Bangkok Thailand (6 hrs)

At the time of typing, I'm chilling in an airport louge in Incheon International Airport...I should be home in the next 7-8 hours Open-mouthed In this mean time, let me note down my experience with Korean Air, Incheon airport and Lancome (doesn't seem relevant...but it will make more sense later).

    Korean Air
This is the first time I fly with KE. I really like the trans-pacific plane that they use, a lot newer and nicer than either NWA or UA. I can significantly feel more comfortable in my economy seat. The service is also a lot nicer. Flight attendants came very often with orange juice (which....somehow I also feel it's more tasty than orange juice in other American airline) or water. The food is....nice but weird. There were 2 meals I had so far. The first meal (supposed to be lunch) offered two choices of either beef Bi Bim Bap or beef steak with potato. I heard about KE food with beef and beef before...so it wasn't totally surprised be. Still, not a good arrangement of choices. The other meal was either pasta or chicken teriyaki. (I slept almost all the time but was really hungry all the time as well....I really doubt how my body works! It seems to be very energy-inefficient.)
The horrible part about KE is they were unable to print all of my tickets at one time. So, I ended up with 3 check-ins at all airports! Otherwise, I have nothing else to complain.

    Incheon Airport:
After two meals on the plane, I still decided to have a nice full meal at a restaurant in the airport. It was a nice one; rice with roe in hot-pot...sounds unusal but taste not uncommon at all. I spent 9,000 Won (about $10) with the meal. Then, I walked to the louge just to found out that there are plenty of good food included in the louge. So, I ate more...haha...the white tuna was really tasty. It was seared just the outside and remained completely raw inside, finished with some sort of vinegratte sauce (which I guess Balsamic). Korean styled octopus salad was also nice... I am so full now!

    Lancome:
I bought a night cream for my mom at the outlet mall last weekend. With all promotion, the cream costed me about $97. I talked to my mom prior to my flight and she wanted more as it's still a lot less expensive than Bkk. So, I bought another exact same one at Atlanta airport this morning at the price of $120. Just an hour ago, I found the cream (of course, exact same one) with the price tag of $220 in Incheon airport! Alright, I'd buy 10 of them from the outlet next time!!!
It's time for my last flight and then I'll be at my home sweet home. I wish everyone happy holidays! Wish you all the best!!!
